Ka-Boom!!!

If I told you that I spent the day doing a waterfowl habitat improvement project in a marsh you might think "oh, that sounds nice", but what would you think if I told you we used 1,100 pounds of explosives to do it?

We used the explosives to blow holes in the ground that will fill with water and make some new ponds for ducks to use. The shock wave from the explosion was something you have to experience to believe. It was so awesome!!!

Dang Dax, seems like you weren't too worried about standing so close. Were you under an umbrella? I like the look of your fellow workers, I bet they could tell a story or two.

AWESOME video. Our jobs are more similar than one might think! Keep that in mind next time you come home to what looks like a bomb went off in the apartment. :)
Love you sweetness.
